A/S Trigon Agri Finalises the Acquisition of its First Grain Storage Elevator in Ukraine
Copenhagen, June 19, 2007

A/S Trigon Agri has finalised the acquisition of its first grain storage elevator in the Harkov region in Ukraine. The elevator acquisition is the first step in realising the company’s strategy of securing its own storage space for grain produced in the Black Earth region. The elevator was acquired by a Cypriot subsidiary company of A/S Trigon Agri by purchasing 100% of shares of OOO Kovjagovskoje, a Ukrainian limited liability company, the single asset of which is the grain storage elevator complex in Harkov region. OOO Kovjagovskoje had no significant liabilities as of the date of the acquisition.

The elevator acquired will provide storage capacity which covers approximately one third of the total need of the 21,000ha cereals farming area currently operated by A/S Trigon Agri in the Harkov region in Ukraine. For the remaining part, the company has currently secured intermediary storage space (providing for storage of up to two months) and it is actively working on further expanding its elevator storage capacity through further acquisitions.
